CN Racing wishes to announce that with immediate effect, both Josh Day and Gavin Hunt, who were contesting the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship aboard the team’s Ten Kate-prepared 1000cc Honda Fireblades, have left the team.

Irishman Cody Nally, who joined the Hebden Bridge-based team following Danny Buchan’s departure, will remain in the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship for the remainder of the season and Carrickfergus rider Glenn Irwin, who leads the Motorpoint British Supersport Cup aboard his CN Racing-supported Yamaha R6, will also remain with the team for the rest of 2012.

Julia Taylor, Team Principal: “We are disappointed to lose both Josh and Gavin as they are both very good riders but due to a breach of their respective contracts, we had no other alternative. We do, however, wish them both the very best for the future and thank them for their help this season. We are committed to both Cody and Glenn for the remainder of the season and will look at other options regarding any replacement riders shortly whereby we hope to be in a position to announce our future plans after Oulton Park this weekend.”
