Continuing their work for local charities, Penrith-based Paul Bird Motorsport are offering race fans the opportunity to bid for two pieces of unique memorabilia from the Be Wiser Ducati Racing Team’s 2018 British Superbike Championship season.

The specially-made Corbeau pit box seats of both multiple champion Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne and team-mate Glenn Irwin, who both won races in 2018, are up for auction with all proceeds going to Carlisle and North Lakeland Hospice at Home.

The online auction starts at 12.00 noon today (Friday 23rd November) and ends at 12.00 noon on Friday 14th December 2018, details as follows:
Shakey Auction: https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/pbminsupportofhospiceathome67
Glenn Auction: https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/pbminsupportofhospiceathome2

Subject to prompt payment from the winning bidders, the seats will be despatched immediately meaning they should arrive in time for Christmas so what better way to treat someone (or yourself) to a Christmas present which no one else in the world will have!

In addition to his continuing role as proud ambassador to the Down’s Syndrome Association, whereby he has raised over £10,000 so far this year, team owner Paul Bird is delighted to be supporting the Carlisle and North Lakeland Hospice at Home, a charity which relies largely on the generosity of the public and local businesses and provides quality, palliative care and support to patients, family members and carers affected by life limiting illness.
