A celebration of Ginetta cars heads for the marque’s home track of Croft Circuit next weekend (27/28 June) when the Ginetta G-Fest Weekend takes place at the North Yorkshire venue.
The two-day meeting, organised by the British Racing & Sports Car Club, will see all three of the Ginetta UK Championships in action as the Ginetta Junior Championship powered by Sunoco Race Fuels, Ginetta GT Academy and Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship all head to Croft in search of more points following the previous round at Oulton Park.

And as ever, the established Yorkshire-built cars will provide plenty of action.
In the Protyre Motorsport GT Championship, Elite Motorsport come to Croft after enjoying a near-perfect weekend at Oulton with William Antrobus and Harry Gamble sharing a triple victory between them across the three races. Meanwhile, in the AM class, James Nicholas, Jamie Caudle, and Alex Duncan all shared the spoils last time out across the three races and will be looking to keep up the momentum.
In the Ginetta GT Academy – the first step on the racing ladder for new drivers – Luis Beilicke arrives as the championship’s dominant force after two victories at Oulton Park. The Want2Race driver has now won four of the opening five races and set a new GT Academy lap record at Oulton so he will certainly be one to watch this time out.
The Ginetta Junior Championship, which spawned the career of current Formula One World Champion Lando Norris, who took his first-ever race victory at Croft in 2014, pits 14 to 17-year-olds against each other as they begin their racing careers.
Lewis Goff heads the standings in the series after continuing an extraordinary run of form at Oulton Park where he went from starting from 25th to finishing 4th in race one, then came from 23rd on the grid to claim an impressive outright victory in race three – his sixth win of the campaign so far – and will be looking to claim more points at Croft.
Gates open at 09.00 each day with qualifying on Saturday from 09.30 followed by the first of six races at 13.20. Qualifying on Sunday starts at 12.30 with a further six races starting at 14.05.
Advance adult admission is just £19 on Saturday and £21 on Sunday, with gate prices on the day at £23 and £25, respectively. Accompanied children aged 15 and under are admitted free, with free car parking, while Croft’s welcoming Hangar 50 Café will be open for all each day. There are other catering outlets open throughout the weekend around the circuit.
