The two-day meeting will see a wide range of affordable racing cars going head-to-head across the 2.17-mile Croft international circuit with the popular single-seater F1000 Championship battling it out with one race on Saturday and two on Sunday. Thomas Gadd has a 10-point lead in the standings from Dan Gore as they head to rounds six, seven and eight whilst in the Clubman Cup it’s Benjamin Huntley who tops the leaderboard.

The Formula Vee 1300cc Volkswagen engine powered single-seat machines will be contesting rounds five and six of the series on both days. Craig Bell arrives in North Yorkshire at the top of the championship with a five-point advantage over Matthew Hyde.

Also featuring, with one race on Saturday and two on Sunday, will be the Locost Championship which is set to showcase a packed grid of machines built to the design set out in Ron Champion’s book ‘Build Your Own Sports Car’.
