2022 Croft Nostalgia Festival incorporating Historic Sports Car Club Race Meeting
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th September 2022
Plans are rapidly forging ahead for the return of the Croft Nostalgia Event which takes place at the North Yorkshire race track on Sunday 4th September 2022.
After an absence of three years, one of the highlights of the local motorsporting scene will see the tenth running of the popular event and promises to be another unforgettable day out as the North East’s premier racing circuit pays homage to yesteryear as part of the Historic Sports Car Club race meeting over the weekend.
The late summer event will appeal to all the family with a host of unique attractions to keep everyone entertained. There is a blend of live music from the wonderful Daisy Belles, The Ragtime Swing Band and Colin Bourdiec (aka George Formby), as well as plenty for the children with traditional fairground rides including an old-fashioned helter-skelter.
There will be Classic and Vintage car displays where you can see the cars close up and soak up the atmosphere as well as watching them in action during the track parades. Vehicles on display include a 1961 Turner Sports Mk2, a 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk3, a 1964 MGB GT, a 1936 Rolls-Royce Park Ward Limousine, plus an MG Midget, an AMC Hornet Sportabout Gucci Edition, a Ford Mustang, classic Triumphs and many, many others.
And why not celebrate the day out in style? All visitors are encouraged to come along dressed in period costumes from the naughty ‘40s, fabulous ‘50s and swinging ‘60s to truly create a sense of yesteryear.
Other attractions include trade stands, Northallerton Silver Band, a unique aeroengine as well as top quality racing over the weekend. There will be lots of food and drink outlets as well as a host of other attractions still to be announced.
There is still time to register and bring along your classic vehicle and drive the glorious track, but hurry as places are strictly limited. Booking is available from the link below:
