The Knockhill Motor Sports Club are thrilled to announce the largest-ever prize worth up to £5000 for up-and-coming riders in their 2024 KMSC 300 Championship. Aimed at 12 – 15-year-olds riding restricted standard 300cc bikes and 13 – 18 year-olds on unrestricted 300’s which are Kawasaki Ninja 300R’s and Yamaha R3’s, the prize winner has the chance to be launched into one of the top championships in the UK.
The career-boosting prize package consists of free entries to the 2025 Tracker Kawasaki British Superteen championship which supports the Bennetts British Superbikes with races at circuits such as Brands Hatch, Donington and Knockhill, provided by MSVR (the organisers of the British Superbike Championship) and a cash top-up of circa £1500, taking the combined value of the prize to £5000.
Riders must be registered members of the Knockhill Motor Sports Club and can reside in any part of the UK with all counting rounds taking place at Knockhill, Scotland’s National Motor Sports Centre. Stuart Gray, the KMSC Chairman said: “We are thrilled that MSVR has recognised the talent that races within the championship at Knockhill and with it being open to all riders of the appropriate age, it is anticipated that entries could come from any of the home nations, further boosting what is an already healthy grid. With four events at Knockhill, starting on April 27th & 28th, any interested rider should contact the KMSC immediately to ensure they don’t miss out on this competition.”
Niall Mackenzie, 3 time British Superbike champion and President of the KMSC, “The racing at Knockhill provides a fantastic grounding for any aspiring BSB rider of the future. The British Superteen grid is highly competitive and is showcased on live TV, so any rider who wins this amazing prize over the rounds at Knockhill will be immediately elevated to the limelight of a top national championship. We are delighted to be hosting this competition and it will be fantastic to see another rider on the 2025 grids throughout Britain who has earned their place through this initiative.
